ozone getting thinner

My design is base on plants and ozone. The things straight you can see it’s a flower which is a water lily. The reason I choose water lily is because water lily is believed as a symbol of enlightenment. While all of the petals represent the different struggles and lives we live on our path to spiritual awakening. The center of the flower represents the state of enlightenment. So the topic here is Global warming. Somehow, the meaning to water lily made me believe it is related to karma or balance of life. Although we know of the consequences, we are using all the technology and things such as perfume, mosquito spray, aircon and more others for us to make our life more comfortable but all these lead us to what we are going through now days which is global warming for the awareness of the consequences was not played well. All these things actually made the ozone thinner and this is the reason why the temperature is increasing lead to melting ice, sea water rising and trees dying. In the design, the middle part represents the ozone.

For the petals, I used gradient yellow and red. Yellow represent the flower itself and calmness. Red and we can see a little orange represent the sun, temperature and mainly red as awareness. The middle part is circles of white and green. The white represent the ozone while the green represent the nature.

So, that’s about it for my assignment 1 on Global Warming symbol. As a conclusion, take note for what you use in your everyday life on how it effects the environment for the love of nature and our future.
